Music Matters Youth Music Education Fund has been established by Music Aid Northwest an is administered by the Washington Music Educator's Association. The fund was set up to receive money from the sale of the new "Music Matters" specialty License plates now available to purchase by every car owner in Washington State. The Music Aid Northwest Music Matters license plate project was established to support school music education throughout Washington.
Visit the Washington State Department of Licensing site to order your very own Music Matters Specialty License plates and support music education!
Monies from this fund can benefit any music program in the state. ANY accredited school music teacher (grades K-12, public or private) can apply for the school’s music department or music booster group to receive these designated funds. But it’s not automatic. For school's to receive funds schools need to have your school on the “approved” list first. Info at Washington Music Educator's Association.
